LONDON: Places to visit- Tour Guide!

London is one of the most beautiful city in the world! Soo we decided to write up a post dedicated specifically to the city's beauty!

We're going to start off by Places to Visit:

1) London Eye. Yeah, we know it's an obvious one but it's one of the most iconic landmarks of this city! It's 135 metres tall and is Europe's tallest ferris wheel which is pretty cool! The views from the pods are spectacular (particularly on a clear day) and it's always fun seeing what you can spot from the sky!

2) Hyde Park. This is one of the biggest parks in London and it really feels it when you're wandering around! You can have a picnic on the grounds and even hire a deck chair to lounge back in on a good day! There's some playgrounds which are peerfect for families and if you're feeling a bit active you can hire a Boris Bike to cycle round the park or grab a boat around the Serpentine.

3) Big Ben. Secret little fact for you: Big Ben is actually the name of the bell in the clock and the tower is called the Elizabeth Tower! This is another of the most famous landmarks and so you can't exactly visit London without catching a sneaky peak at this!

4) M&M's Shop- Yes, a world dedicated just to M&M's.. sounds like heaven right?! This shop is 3 floors of chocolatey goodness and the largest sweet store in the world (apparently)!! You can create your own bags of pick and mix M&Ms, buy cuddly toys and homeware and pose with the numerous statues and displays dedicated to the sweets!

 5) Trafalgar Square. Again, another place that would be a real tragedy to not stop at on your visit! It commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar which was a famous British navy victory in the Napoleonic wars! The history around London is amazing! It's the perfect place to sit, grab something to eat, and reflect on life!

6) Covent Garden - Best day to visit: Sunday. This place is goooorgeous!! Some of the shops aren't particularly affordable (looking at you Godiva!) but they are really well laid out and the streets are so fun to walk down! You can usually find a street performer or band playing which is always good fun! For bonus points: try to find the Moomin shop- it's brilliant!

PS. You'll see a lot of shows like this!

We didn't include all the tourstic attractions but only the destinations we love!
Hope you all have a lovely time in London!

What's your favorite place to visit in London?
PS. If you could live in any place in the world, where would it be and why?!

  1. I've been to London before but I never did any sight seeing! I really want to though! If I could live anywhere in the world I guess it would be somewhere in America. The weather is too cold here haha

  2. I've been living in London for almost three years and I'm yet to go to Convent Garden. Embarrassing, I know! But I really want to go, as I've heard a lot of things about it. Ooh...and I never thought of M&M World as somewhere to visit, but I'll be sure to do so too! xx
